Elliot Schweickert is the youth pastor for the River Church in Toano, Virginia. His vision is to raise up a generation of leaders who are equipped, empowered, and released into their God giving purposes to reach the world with the message of the simple gospel. Elliott has traveled throughout the world with the knowledge and conviction that God is a good Father, and He wants us all to partner with Him to bring about the reality of Jesus' prayer, “On earth as it is in Heaven.” [MORE]

Ulisse Ovidi comes to The River Church by way of South Africa. Ulisse is the Missions and Life Groups Pastor. Ulisse’s heart is to see people set free by hearing, seeing and walking in the truth! Craig and Allison have been serving the local body for more than 15 years. Their background is in youth ministry, small groups, leading teams on the street for outreach and home churches. Craig was recently ordained through Elim Fellowship and is excited for what God is doing at the River. In addition to Associate Pastor, Craig co leads the Wednesday Bible study and is part of the worship team. Their desire is to see the body to grow into who they were created to be.

GOD placed Robbie & Becky together at the ages of 14 & 15 and they have been on life’s journey together ever since. GOD has blessed them with a small business, a small farm and 3 boys - Dakota, Thunder and Chance. Together they share a passion for helping people in need and GOD has placed a desire on their hearts to see the body of CHRIST become as physically healthy as possible with proper nutrition and exercise. Since coming to The River Church, GOD has been changing lives through an amazing LIFE GROUP known as Warrior Workouts where the physical temple is being strengthened and the Spiritual temple is being shaped through discipleship and the walking in GOD’S Word through Faith! GOD has also given Becky a passion for caring for animals and Robbie a heart for purity among fellow men. 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit that you received from God and that lives in you. You don’t own yourselves. God paid a very high price to make you his. So, honor God with your body.
